Josh is 5'5 165 and is the 5th string running back on the team. He played high school in Logan, Utah (where Utah State is located) and walked on at the local University with dreams and aspirations of playing for the Aggies. From his Freshman year all the way to the Fall of his Junior year, Josh paid for his own education as a walk-on and has been the epitome of hard work and desire. Knowing he would probably never break the ranks to have a shot at playing in a game, he continued to service the 1st team defense as a scout and worked hard during 2 season's and 3 Spring ball sessions. Josh never complained or muttered any words of quit the whole time he has been at Utah State. His one wish has always been to "do what is best for the team".

This fall, Josh has proved to be one of the most dependable players on and off the field. He still hasn't broken the ranks to play running back in a game, but he starts on Kick-off (where he is schemed to be the guy that every team double teams)Kick-off return (where he is selling his little body out to make blocks) Punt Return, and 2nd team Punt. Having put in his time and effort to serve the Aggie football team with knock out effort, Josh earned a scholarship and was put on full aid this fall (2009). He continues to service the 1st team defense as a scout running back and continues to play with fanatical effort on every special teams down that he is in the game.
