FAQs For Nominees
A nomination has been completed - what's next?
Congratulations! Now that a player has been nominated we strongly encourage filling the nominee's online profile with stories, videos, photos, articles, and links as outlined below. The Selection Committee will evaluate each nominee's story based on everything submitted. So the more content submitted, the better the story will be represented. Additional information can be submitted by the nominee, coaches, family members, friends and sports information/media directors.
How can more information be submitted for a player profile?
Please email any stories, videos, photos, articles, and links and we will upload to the player's profile. Submissions should be sent to:
submissions@collegefootballrudyawards.com
Videos
As the most powerful medium for conveying a message of inspiration as to why a nominee is the 'Rudy' on their team, video will be an integral part of the voting process and we strongly encourage submissions of videos as follows:
Maximum three (3) videos
Maximum video length of 3 minutes each
.mov, .wmv, .avi, .mp4 only
Maximum size 640 x 480 pixels
We recommend contacting film departments at the nominee's university for assistance producing their videos. It is an excellent opportunity for young filmmakers to showcase their work to a national audience!
Photos
Each nominee's online profile includes a photo gallery, so please submit photos of the nominee as a kid and young adult playing & inspiring their team or community:
Maximum ten (10) photos
.jpg or .png only
Maximum size 1200 x 800 pixels
Articles
Any past or present articles in newspapers or magazines about the nominee can be scanned and emailed for submission.
Links
Any online videos, articles, blog posts, etc that help tell the nominee's story are welcome.
Stories
Please ask the nominee's teammates, schoolmates, community, family, and others to please share their stories how the nominee has touched their lives. Stories should be emailed to to us as .doc, .docx, .pages, .txt, or simply in the body of their email.
